Layers of Complexity, Reflections on the Elpida Home for Refugees

In December of 2016, Andrea Bakas spent 2 weeks volunteering with other medical professionals to provide primary care for the near 200 displaced Syrians and Iraqi adults and children residing at the Elpida Home for Refugees in Thessaloniki, Greece,. She will offer a brief presentation about her experience and the ongoing refugee crisis.
