Lecture by: Peter Z. Mantarakis

Peter is author of Tears of the People, which is Tears of the People, a book about the life of Theophilos Kairis, a Greek revolutionary from Andros who plotted to free Greece in 1821 from the 400-year oppression by the Ottomans. Theophilos Kairis was a priest but also a renowned educator, philosopher and a recipient of his country’s Medal of Honor. During the Greek War of Independence in the early 1800s, he was an inspirational hero to the freedom fighters and populace alike.

$30 per person - (fixed price menu, stuffed tomatoes/peppers with beef, chicken plate or fish).
